Looking northwest to West Maui Mountains
The trees are gone!
Looking west, across the parcel that backs up to nature preserve and Azeka Shopping Center……..The trees are cleared.
Also, looking west, the roof on the horizon is Long’s Shopping Center on S. Kihei Road…….The trees are cleared.

Solved! I confirmed my guess on Google.
Liloa Street view (oceanside) There are 50 to 100 of these trees. We should call the property an orchard. Now that I recognize them…I spotted over a dozen mango trees in yards on Halama Street.

We were there to look for humpback whales.
Two catamaran tours stopped for snorkeling. One outrigger canoe in motion. Two kayakers perhaps snorkeling as well. Five paddle boarders seated on their boards.
