Ahhh, businesses come and go. These are a few of our observations from the last ten years.
This location used to Lani Spa, which was set up as a small resort type spa without the resort. To me, a great idea for locals as well as visitors staying in other accommodations. I haven’t checked out the new business yet.
This is the front porch of what used to be Marco’s Italian Restaurant on S. Kihei Road. Again, it had some of a resort feel without the resort. Our favorite thing was to have breakfast out on the porch. No ocean view, but it did have fresh air, sunshine and a view of West Maui mountains. Marco’s location in Kahului is still going strong.
This was the location for Maui Lotus Yoga, an ambitious venture that started with three units. One unit for retail and two for studio. Since, it was on the second level there was a great view of Haleakala. Michelle moved back to the mainland. It was a blessing for me for it to be so close to home. I go to Kihei Community Yoga now, just further south on S. Kihei Road.
