The Maui Swap Meet could also be referred to as a farmer’s market. It opens weekly at 7 a.m. on Saturdays at the Community College in Kahului. There is plenty of parking. Many vendors sell clothing, souvenirs, you name it.
The bunches of red ginger, heliconia, bird of paradise, anthurium and King protea are some of the best values on island. Expect to pay $3-$10 per bunch. Plan to buy an arm load to enjoy during your visit. (Note: Big flowers need big vases.)
